How We Do Things Differently

A cheap unit that eats through salt and cartridges can cost you more by year five than a sturdier one. You see both numbers from us, so the choice still looks right later on.

The test comes before anything else
Your free water test checks hardness and flags any odd taste or smell. Those numbers decide how big a softener should be and whether carbon, reverse osmosis or both belong in your plan. Without them, we make no recommendation.
Running costs shown with the price
Beside the installed price, you get a list of what the system uses each year: bags of salt, replacement cartridges, and a new reverse osmosis membrane every few years. You know what it really takes to keep it going.
The right size, no upselling
A softener that's too small regenerates constantly and wastes salt and water. One that's too big costs extra the day you buy it. We size from your test and your household, and we tell you when a smaller unit is enough.
Installation already in the price
Installation is part of the system price, so you won't get a separate plumbing bill afterward. If fitting the equipment means extra plumbing at your home, we tell you on the call, before anything is booked.
Help after the install
Before we go, we show you how to add salt, change a filter and read the control valve. If something seems off later, call us with your questions.

How a Job Runs From First Call to Clean Water

Most of the decisions happen before anyone touches a pipe, so install day is calm and predictable.

  1. 1

    A phone conversation

Tell us what is bothering you: spots on glasses, scale on fixtures, dry skin, a chlorine taste. We'll learn a little about your home's size and plumbing, then pick a time that suits you for the free water test.

  2. 2

    Your free water test

We test hardness and the other items that matter for your concerns, and we explain the readings in plain terms. There is no obligation to buy anything afterward.

  3. 3

    Options with lifetime costs

You get one or two options that fit the results, each with the installed price and what it takes to run per year. We point out which parts wear and roughly when they need replacing.

  4. 4

    Installation

A partner plumber fits the system, connects the bypass and drain, sets the control valve for your hardness and household, and checks for leaks. Work areas are protected and cleaned up before they leave.

  5. 5

    A quick walkthrough

We show you where the salt goes, how to switch to bypass, and when to swap a filter. Then the system is yours to enjoy.

A Small Company Focused on Your Water

Our aim is simple: give people in Mesa a straighter way to buy water treatment. Too many homeowners are sold the biggest system on the truck without ever hearing what it costs to keep running. We would rather you buy once and be happy with it for years.

Hard water shows up across the East Valley as white crust on faucets, cloudy dishes and shorter lives for water heaters. A good softener or filter can help with all of that, but only if it matches your water and your household. That is why every recommendation we make starts with a test and ends with a price you can compare honestly.

Questions Mesa Homeowners Ask Us

Is a softener really needed for Mesa water?
Water here is mostly hard, and you can see it in crusty faucet aerators, spotted dishes and white deposits on shower heads. Still, hardness differs between homes, and so does how much it bothers people. Your free water test gives us the actual number, and we only suggest a softener if that number supports it.
Do I need a softener, a filter or both?
They solve different problems. A softener removes the minerals that cause scale, a carbon filter takes care of chlorine taste and odor, and reverse osmosis cleans drinking and cooking water at one tap. Plenty of homes need just one. We look at your test results and your main complaint before suggesting more than one.
How much does a system cost?
It comes down to your hardness, the size of your household, which system you pick and how ready your plumbing is. The install is included, so the price you hear is for a working system. We also tell you the yearly cost of salt, filters and membranes, so you can compare options over several years and not just on day one.
Is the water test actually free?
Yes. It costs nothing and you're under no obligation. We walk you through every reading whatever you decide. If your water turns out to be fine, we say so plainly and don't push a system.
Does the equipment come with a warranty?
Tanks on qualifying systems carry a lifetime warranty. As we review your options, we point out which models qualify. The installation work has its own separate coverage, which we explain in the same conversation.
How much upkeep does a softener or filter need?
A softener needs salt topped up, usually every month or two, based on your hardness and water use. Whole-home carbon filters get new media or cartridges on a fixed schedule, and reverse osmosis units need prefilter changes regularly and a fresh membrane every few years. You get a written schedule for your system.
Will the install make a mess?
Softeners and whole-home filters usually go in the garage or where the main line enters the house, away from your living areas. Reverse osmosis goes under the kitchen sink. The installer protects the work area, checks every connection and cleans up before leaving.

What Shapes the Price of a System

Two systems with similar sticker prices can cost very different amounts to own. Here is what moves both the installed price and the yearly upkeep. We go over each point with you once we know your test results.

We give you installed system pricing by phone once we understand your water and your home, and the free water test fills in anything we cannot see from the call. You will hear the upkeep costs at the same time, not after the install.

Your water test results
Harder water needs more softening capacity, which means a larger resin tank and more salt per regeneration. If taste and odor are the main complaint, a carbon filter may be the bigger part of the job.
Household size and water use
More people and more bathrooms mean more gallons through the system each day. We size the tank or filter to that flow so it keeps up during morning showers and laundry days without wearing out early.
Type of system
Equipment cost and running cost both change with the kind of treatment you choose. Softeners use salt, carbon filtration needs fresh media on a schedule, and reverse osmosis needs prefilters plus an occasional new membrane. Many households with hard water pair a softener with reverse osmosis for drinking water, and we price that pairing as one clear figure.
Plumbing at the install spot
A lot of Mesa garages were built with a softener loop already in place, and tying into one is straightforward. Without a loop, or with the drain and outlet a long way off, the added plumbing raises the cost of the job.
Efficiency and upkeep
Newer control valves regenerate based on the water you actually use, not on a fixed timer. That can lower salt and water use over the years, which is part of how we compare options with you.
